In the three quarters of FY 2020 (October 1, 2019 - June 30, 2020), the Limited Excess Property Program (LEPP) successfully transferred 24,037,918.29 dollars’ worth of surplus property to 12 countries where USAID provides aid and development assistance. The property transferred included generators, laptops, school furnishings, medical consumables, as well as ophthalmology, laboratory, and dental equipment. Approximately 30% of these transfers were made during the COVID-19 pandemic between March 1 and June 30. LEPP partner organizations that are faith-based accounted for approximately 28% of the federal surplus property donations during this period
