USAID is part of the national security team, driving priorities as defined in the National Security Strategy, the State-USAID Joint Strategic Plan, and the State-USAID-Department of Defense (DoD) Stabilization Assistance Review. The Agency’s work advances national security objectives — and, due to the increasing interdependence of civilian and military efforts, increased collaboration with the Department of Defense (DoD) is imperative.
