The village of Khaspoladoba in northern district of Khachmaz, Azerbaijan, is a hazelnut growing community. The residents have long faced shortages of irrigation water. With support from USAID's Socio-Economic Development Activity with the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, Khaspoladova residents came together to carry out a community project to better irrigate their orchards and increase productivity.
