On March 19, U.S. Agency for International Development Administrator Mark Green will travel to New York City, New York to address a United Nations Security Council Briefing on the humanitarian situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Administrator Green will be calling on the international community to join the United States as it prepares to scale up assistance to reach the more than 13 million people in need of urgent humanitarian aid in DRC, where political instability and conflict have created one of the world's most pressing global crises.
