The following is attributable to Spokesperson Clayton M. McCleskey:
United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Mark Green met today with the Honorable Charlotte Petri Gornitzka, Chair of the Development Assistance Committee (DAC) of the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development to discuss how donors can more efficiently and effectively identify and respond to the world's most-pressing development challenges, including the effects of large movements of people. Administrator Green noted the United States is excited to host the 50th Annual Tidewater Meeting of Development Ministers in the Summer of 2018, and that he looks forward to working with the DAC Chair to formulate an engaging Tidewater agenda - one that includes building the capacity of partner countries on their journey to self-reliance.
