U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) Administrator Mark Green will travel to Des Moines, Iowa, to attend the World Food Prize Borlaug Dialogue International Symposium and related events from October 15-16, 2019. Dr. Beth Dunford, USAID's Assistant to the Administrator for Food Security and the Deputy Coordinator for Development for Feed the Future, will accompany him.
While in Des Moines, Administrator Green will meet with members of the USAID Board for International Food and Agricultural Development, who will be launching a new report on U.S. benefits resulting from foreign agricultural investments on Tuesday, October 15, at 2:30 p.m., CDT. The event will be livestreamed, and is open to press credentialed at the World Food Prize. Register for the livestream here.
On Wednesday, October 16, Administrator Green will provide keynote remarks at the opening plenary of the Borlaug Dialogue at 1:20 p.m., CDT.
