This notice is to inform you about the latest revision in the Standard Provisions of the award for Non-U.S. Nongovernmental Organizations that is a mandate in administering an award. The revision is to update the Standard Provision, “ACCOUNTING, AUDIT, AND RECORDS” to conform to the increased audit threshold of $750,000 or more for foreign nonprofit organizations, host governments, and subrecipients, established in ADS Chapter 591, Financial Audits of USAID Contractors, Recipients, and Host Country Entities.

Today, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) announced further action to help India in its fight against Tuberculosis (TB). India has the world's highest incidence of TB, with 2.8 million cases annually, and accounts for more than a quarter of the global TB burden. India also has the largest burden of multi-drug-resistant TB (MDR-TB) among all countries, with almost 150,000 cases every year. TB claims over 435,000 Indian lives each year, which places TB among the top ten causes of death in the country.

Welcome, everyone. And what a great GES. First, on behalf of the U.S. government, thank you. Over the last few days we've met entrepreneurs, investors, industry leaders from over 150 countries. Some have traveled here from quite literally the other side of the world. Now, there's an old saying that the key to a great dinner is not so much what's on the table as is what is on the chairs. So no offense to the hosts, no offense to the organizers, but the quality and success of a summit is not determined by the smoothness of the program or the quality of the speakers. It is by all of you.
